Job Description

We are hiring a Diesel Mechanic to join our team at First Student, the largest school transportation provider in North America. As a Technician I, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing school buses to ensure vehicle safety and readiness. Responsibilities

• Assist with preventive maintenance, safety inspections, and annual DOT maintenance inspections.
• Diagnose and perform repairs on vehicle components such as brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions.
• Accurately complete work orders and provide mobile emergency services as needed.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license required; willingness to obtain CDL while employed.
• Minimum of 1 year of automotive or diesel maintenance experience or technical school education.
• Mechanic's tool set required.
• Willingness to participate in ASE certification program.
• Subject to a drug test.
