Job Description
Are you passionate about providing social work services to patients and their families? LifeBridge Health is looking for a dedicated Social Worker to join our team at Levindale Hospital in Baltimore, MD. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for conducting psychosocial assessments, providing counseling, and assisting patients/residents with various social and emotional challenges.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and provide clinical social work services.
- Assist patients/residents and families with adjustment to institutional living.
- Offer counseling related to various issues like financial concerns, family relationships, and end-of-life planning.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Social Work (BSW) required, Master's degree preferred.
- Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C) preferred.
- Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) certification required.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
