Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Social Worker to join our team at LifeBridge Health. In this full-time role at Levindale Hospital in Baltimore, MD, you will provide clinical social work services and psychosocial assessments to patients/residents and families. You will address various issues including adjustment to institutional living, financial concerns, family relationships, discharge planning, and counseling related to death and dying.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical social work services and psychosocial assessments to patients and families.
- Address common problems such as adjustment to institutional living, financial concerns, and family relationships.
- Assist patients with understanding and accepting medical procedures and treatments.
- Participate in discharge planning and provide counseling related to death and dying.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Social Work (BSW) required, Master's degree preferred.
- LCSW-C preferred.
- LGSW certification required.
